Dan is on all sorts of different podcasts, and he's partnered with PBS. The amount of influence he has is quite frightening. The real reason he shut down the forum is because the creator of the podcast MartyrMade used to post on the DCF and Dan felt threatened so he denied the guy a platform to speak. Dan knows he can't win in the marketplace of ideas so he does what he can to stifle creative voices of others.
