Its sounds like the show never stated how the Soviets were able to take down the entire nation. No real military engagement and maybe something like a EMP attack, idk. One of the more fascinating parts of the story seemed to be all the different levels of subversion and collaboration from within.

Its also hilarious that the remake of Red Dawn had the North Koreans instead of the more intelligible idea of having the Chinese invade. Can't do anything that negatively impact Chinese marketing nowadays. Are country is pozzed now , Alibaba owns Hollywood.
