It's far superior to iTunes, definitely. You can stream or download podcasts, as you like. It also has a main page, with your podcasts ordered by the latest updated, so you never have to fish for what's new. You can set some to auto-download whenever you're on wi-fi, so you don't even have to do that.

Was Destroyer of Worlds better ? For me, Destroyer and Celtic were to much rehashes of Logical Insanity (which there was also an Extra for) and Death Throws of the Republic for me to really be that interested in. They were "different" but not in the essence of them.

I am happy he's put a stop to CS at least for the near future and the Addendum feed will be more historically bent. Sounds like a good plan. But I beat like the past several years have shown we will likely on get two HH episodes a year and about three Addendum episodes a year taking the place of Common Sense.

History on Fire has at least a couple really interesting ideas for shows that seem promising for the next several months. Maybe he will tackle someone like Stalin since 1) he's show is more biographical than Dans and 2). there a really good three part biography series on him and other countless materials to draw uppon. I do think its interesting that Stalin scholar Kotkin thinks that Stalin did not purposely target ethnic Ukranians for the famine. He thinks it was obviously stalins fault and part of collectivation but not that it was done to kill ukrainians per say. This is a departure from Appebaum thinks.

I've had stitcher for awhile. It works in a pinch, but the interface is clunky.

Podcast Addict is the best that I found.

I paid for the "donate" app version so I wouldn't see any ads, though. I am not sure what it's like with ads anymore. I have used it for 3-4 years now (can't remember when I first went to it offhand).

He was accepting bitcoin as donation all that time too. Bastard.
