Ironically, “Go On Fotever” is the shortest MH podcast I’ve run across.

What can I say except you pull a correct conclusion out of a premise riddled with heavily flawed assumptions. “The Rich” pay over 80% of the taxes, and their contributions are plenty sufficient for a limited government. For an ever expanding, increasingly voracious, indignantly entitled government no amount of tax on any income class will ever be enough.

UBI won’t happen because it’s unsustainable and a competitive world won’t abide nonproductive consumers acting as parasites on the limited resources of the world. The hungry will displace the complacent, the skilled will take from the useless, same as it ever was.

Global trade is not a net loss for the nation, it’s a net win. It can and likely will continue forever because when humans find systems that work better for vast majorities of people (be it agriculture, alphabets, or trade) they tend to hold on to them.

Global trade has been a net loss for America, dude. Put down the Sowell book and just look around.

A trade deficit is fucking bad. Really bad when it is this large. We are getting taken to the cleaners here, and our entire manufacturing sector was decimated.

I agree we could fund limited government on less taxes, but the states will have to increase in size to accommodate, and they will take that money out in other ways.

The problem here is that the government in general is destroying the middle class to fund itself and profit their corporate donors with job offshoring deals. Yes, the wealthy pay more in absolute terms, but not much more in percentage terms when you tally up all the consumption taxes, property taxes, and various little taxes in all the services you have to use. The middle class is getting wrecked from both taxes and income ends of their economic lives. Then they are getting fucked by inflation due to printing more money to profit banks and keep this racket running.

It's actually pretty bad.

Pick up the Sowell book, dude, quit drinking MSM economics kool-aid.

You’re like a hardcore democrat when it comes to leftist economic fallacies: rich are evil, outsourced jobs made us all poorer, 1%ers stealing a finite wealth-pie, dollars buying less, UBI, etc, etc. Textbook, bullshit, pseudo-Marxist economics at its finest. Not sure why you’re able to ditch most of the Marxist kool-aid but insist on maintaining a death grip on their poisonous, anti-Western, anti-American Economics.
