Fascism seems to have an ever-shifting definition
it retains certain characteristics
OWS morphing into Antifa, that's nascent Fighting Leagues
the Woke religion supplanting Christianity, there's the anticlericism
the merger of state & corporations, such as Big Tech & MSM seizing control
and the MICC permanent overseas military adventure for its own sake, praetorianism
You make a strong case, and I oppose all those things.
But apparently that doesn't free me of the "fascist" label from MH, which is increasingly more like the "racist" label from Dems.
It turns out you can't just disagree with people anymore - you have to be some kind of authoritarian or bigot if you oppose someone's idea.
there are both Communist & Fascist elements vying for control right now
I don't see you in either of those camps
you're not a radical, you're quite clearly a conservative, which is conserving classical liberalism in the Western paradigm

People are supportive of what works for them: liberty worked for me; opportunity enabled by the state because I had no nepotistic connections. If your family, church, fraternity has your back then you probably prefer Fascism.
Families, churches, and fraternities require neither government nor corporatism.
Why would those people prefer fascism?
I think you just don't like anyone being able to succeed without the state's assistance or permission.
I'm glad relying on the state worked for you - but that's a poor excuse to force everyone else to do it the same way.

false dichotomy
the state didn't enable your success, it simply didn't get in your way enough to prevent it
liberty is inalienable rights endowed by the creator, not by the state

Well, you guys depend of your nepotistic connections for success but since I don’t have any, I need the state to force meritocracy be the deciding factor.

the state opposes meritocracy
you're looking for meritocracy in all the wrong places
stop strawmanning everyone who doesn't support your wealth confiscation plan as nepotistic fascists
such weak sauce

I don't have any either.
You claim the state made you rich.
Well, it's kept me poor.
So why do you get to decide the state equals liberty, when it didn't for me?

Liberty primarily benefits the most capable, everyone else has to rely on nepotism or luck. That's why liberty can't survive democracy.

Government jobs do not go to the most capable.
In fact, nepotism runs rampant throughout the government bureaucracy.
It's widely known as the place to send your non-productive family members so they can ride the gravy train.
Your plan rewards government, not liberty.
You're subsidizing mediocrity and laziness, not capable people.

I have a liberty plan
if you think the state deserves your wealth more than your family, leave it to them in your will
and let those who think their family deserve it more than the state leave it to their family in their will
no pointless and foolish government confiscation required

the most fascist entity in America is something like MSNBC
they are Woke anticlericists, ostensibly on the side of the populist mobs in the street
while at the same time are a de facto state corporate entity beholden to the military industrial complex
