Consider three situations for someone without a job because it is not worth a "living wage" to have someone do:
Private job: Pays $7/hour but it would take $30/hour to live & State makes up the other $23.
No job: State just gives person $30/hour.
Make-Work: State gives person $30/hour but they have to dig holes & fill them in.
Which do you choose?
