As far as I know, this is the only surviving evidence that a 3 minute short of this book was made. Besides the artist/animator who made the video, Arthur Eugene "Gene" Ellis, I was the only other person ever to see it... After which I packed it away in a box - never to be seen again.
UPDATE: Finally found the one and only copy of the final animation. It is even worse than I remember it, a truly cringe-worthy production:
