High CEO Pay
High CEO pay is tied to the marginal tax rate: CEOs are notorious for not wanting "Government to get one goddamn dime of my money," so they would take lower pay just out of perversity. At some point, a CEO will forego more pay if they think Government is getting too big a share. We know from pre-Reagan times that 90% certainly works but I don't know how much lower you can go?
