Original Sin

Catholics believe babies are born evil and must accept Jesus Christ to enter the kingdom of heaven. That’s true in metaphorical sense. If children are not indoctrinated against following their basic instincts, they would rape, steal & murder their brethren. Becoming a productive member of society is the kingdom. This concept may be enshrined in religious doctrine but it’s fundamentally true.
