The other day I made the comparison of Covey vs. Solzhenitsyn: one encourages lively exchange of views and the other prohibits repeating propaganda. I chose Solzhenitsyn, which was casually dismissed as "no one will come knocking on your door at 4 a.m. to drag you off to the gulags." But that's obviously not true if updated to today's gulag-equivalent. I could easily get #metooed, or Trust Womened, gas-lighted, or declared Right Wing, called racist, or discriminated against because of my sex or color of my skin; but most likely, I'll get Cancelled.
