You can't be seriously arguing that the existence of differences in taste disproves the existence of quality.

I thought you were supposed to be meta-logical, and yet you continue to confuse the subjectivity of taste with descriptive quality.
Talking about the quality of art is like talking about wine; total waste of time. I started with the example of how the Mona Lisa became considered one of highest quality of art ever, and it was all luck. Number one on a lot of lists is "Starry Night." Please! Every Frazetta painting is better than that.
What serious person is arguing that the Mona LIsa is the highest quality painting ever? Who is even arguing it is the best thing da Vinci did?

It is a painting made famous from a heist - and made valuable by reputation. From this you conclude that there are no qualitative differences between works of art? You are asking the poor old Mona Lisa do a lot of heavy lifting in your aesthetic universe.
Dude, Mona Lisa is listed #1 in fame & #15 in quality:

Fame
Quality

Are we talking quality of the paper, paint and brushes? What quality?
Oh, NOW you want to participate.

Make a point, and we can discuss it.
Oh? I asked a clarification question on a point you were trying to make. Answer or don't.

Edit: I didn't realize I was keeping you waiting. My bad.

It is certainly famous. Household name, in fact.

I don't know if a listicle from 'ranker' counts as a serious person. It is based on user voting, which pretty much equates quality to fame. I would expect one of the few household names in fine art to appear at the top of a list that is voted on by users.
HAIL!

Her needs America so they won't just take his shit away like in some pussy non gun totting countries can happen.

Your question does not seem to relate to what I said. The only answer I can give is that the quality of the medium can figure into a broader assessment of quality.

This preoccupation on Elites being the final say is definitely the biggest commonality between Commies & NeoCons.

The rejection of authority in favor of relativism and the elevation of subjective experience is the biggest commonality between you and Critical Theorists.
