This has been my personal experience with planning your life:

When you’re under 35, if you contact somebody who can help you with an idea, a small number will, perhaps because they want to have sex with you. When you’re older, people ignore your ideas, and the only ones that want to have sex with you are the ones who want something. When you’re over 50, a small number of people will actively work against your plans, and nobody wants to have sex with you.

I've noticed that while my father was alive, everything was about my father.

I looked up to my father, and he was both my mentor and my friend.

After my father died it's been a whole nother world, now I just live for myself and do what I want to do.

My whole ideology has evolved into something new in the wake of my father's departure from this green earth.

I realized my father was wrong about so many things.

His heart was in the right place, but ultimately he was naive.

It's hard to think of your father as being wrongheaded when you look up to him like I did.

Now that he's gone, it's fully my life, I'm not living for him anymore, I'm living for me.

I think he would be okay with that, his greatest quality was his individualism, his autonomy from a mob.

That is what he passed on to me.

I requested advice from you multiple times and got nothing outside of "sounds good dude."
