The Columbian Politics Reporter contacted me to ask questions. Because of my previous experiences with The Columbian misrepresenting what I said, I wanted everything in writing, (see below). The result of which was a hatchet job that everyone can see for themselves. (The underlined text is all that she put in the article from what I wrote. Everything else she made up.)

Almost everybody complains of the low quality of candidates running for office, and that is because the selection process is so dominated by Special Interests. I have an unmatched resume, and a lifetime of exceptional experiences. I am more capable, more qualified, and much more independent of outside influence than Paul Harris. I am the person in the room that people very quickly start listening to.

I would represent Washington residents being exploited by Oregon income taxes, make sure Clark County is getting back as much taxes as it is paying to Olympia, and keep careful watch over any tentative Columbia River bridge projects that reeked of crony capitalism or muscling by Portland.

> 3) Where did you go to school to receive all these degrees?
Locally, MBA from Univ of Portland, MS Engineering from Oregon Graduate Institute (now OHSU), and JD from Lewis & Clark Law School. BS Engineering from CA State Sacramento, and PhD in Computer Science from Univ of Idaho. MS of Medicine from Univ of Northumbria, England, and MD from St. George's Medical School, WI. I did my medical training in hospitals in East Oakland, CA, Bronx, NY, and South Miami, FL, all at-risk populations.

> 4) How would you describe your political philosophy?
Classical Liberal, liberty first. Liberals are moderate libertarians and Progressives are moderate socialists, and they overlap in the Democratic Party. I am a Democrat because my economics are Keynesian, and my social views are liberal.

I am at the point in my life where the best use of my qualifications & skills is for public benefit. I am comfortable & capable of organizing coalitions, and after a settling in period, we will start pressuring for liberty-centric goals inside legislation already before the House, then eventually introduce our own.

The idea that a State Supreme Court can essentially write laws is counter to the Separation of Powers, and an indication that Washington's election of judges is corrupt. Clearly, it is an issue that needs to go to the U.S. Supreme Court where I expect it to be struck down just like how Washington State's Supreme Court was overturned on Top 2 voting. Eventually Washington State's Constitution needs to be changed barring such totalitarian behavior, and while we are at it, change the Constitution to appoint judges.

I have a political podcast, "PRay TeLL, Dr. Hash," on iTunes which comes out every other day, that clearly articulates my perceptions & positions on a wide variety of national issues. I also have a YouTube channel for local political topics, and I post to local political online forums. Clark County constituents will be well informed about what I would be doing as their representative, and have an opportunity to debate me.

I will take your email at face value even though you did not list the questions you wish to ask, and I only answer questions in written form so that they cannot be misconstrued.

It seems newsworthy that I have written & produced 3 feature-length motion pictures, and many shorts. It seems newsworthy that I have traveled to more than 100 countries, been to all 7 continents, and lived overseas for a number of years. In fact, all of these things combined into a single individual seems very newsworthy indeed but I have never seen any mention of it in the Columbian though all the information is public, and some even in the Voter's pamphlet.

This is what she wrote.
Hash is a Vancouver entrepreneur who made money developing 3-D animation software. He has run for office before, including in 2008 when he campaigned for Benton’s seat.
Hash, who declined to comment to The Columbian except by email, wrote that he would “represent Washington residents being exploited by Oregon income taxes, make sure Clark County is getting back as much taxes as it is paying to Olympia and keep a careful watch over any tentative Columbia River bridge projects that reeked of crony capitalism or muscling by Portland.”
Hash said he’s received a variety of degrees, ranging from a master’s in business administration from the University of Portland, a juris doctorate from Lewis & Clark Law School, and Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Idaho.
Hash, who has released a feature-length 3-D animated movie “Tin Woodman of Oz,” said he’s at the point in his life “where the best use of my qualifications and skills is for public benefit.”
Hash has a political podcast called “Pray tell, Dr. Hash.”
