Liberty results in a society with wealth inequality, which people accept, but it can only exist if The Rich subsidize everyone else, not the other way around, otherwise the disparity continually increases until society fractures along de facto class boundaries. For example, if there is elite-treatment for a public asset such as a highway that has special lanes for people who pay higher tolls to go faster than everyone else, the cost of the go-fast toll must be computed as if those elite people were the only ones using the asset, then a separate computation made for everyone else, then both tolls are lowered by the same percentage to get to the tiered toll fees. That way the elites are not underpaying just because everyone else is covering the basic service. Progressive taxation tiers should be computed similarly: the cost of the National budget per taxpayer is first computed for every tier as if only everyone at each percentage of income and above were paying, then all the tiers are averaged to get the actual rates. (Taking into account that only people who have income are used in the computations.)
