Stimulus Spending by The Rich

The Rich can provide an economy's stimulus just as good as government can: they buy lots of stuff they don't need so that some not-so-lucky schmuck has a job making needless stuff. It works up to a point but there's diminishing returns on how much useless shit one person can buy. Better to have 100 semi-lucky people buying useless stuff, but those folks are only going to get the moola if it's pried from the greedy hands of the super-lucky via high progressive tax rates, and since the Upper Middle Class are the "2nd place is the 1st losers," they would naturally move up when the winner gets pushed off the dime.
