Protestors

Modern protestors have taken abuse of courtesy to the extreme: the Occupy Wall Street movement was an attempt of exploiting the Right to gather. Their strategy was that it is not enough to demonstrate their personal opinion, they must force you to accept their opinion through extortion of the public space. The noxious assaults on everyday commuters was unacceptable, resulting in equally unacceptable & ridiculous “Free Speech Zones.” If people want to demonstrate, and picket, and work the media for their cause, most of us don't have a problem with it, all sides need to get their message in front of public opinion, and controversially decisions need their day in Court to assure they meet Constitutional standards, but today's tactics are getting increasingly more totalitarian. It's eerily reminiscent of the rise of Fascism but the protestors are way too young to remember what that looked like.
