Walmart

I used to never shop at Walmart but I do now. I used to feel discomfort. I don't know if that was from the negative narrative from Democrats or “The People of Walmart”? (My wife, Gwynne's, favorite website.) I started shopping there after listening to an EconTalk podcast where Russ Roberts interviewed a writer who started working at Walmart undercover to exposed their dirty-dealings but instead of hating it, he came out completely on the other side. In fact, the writer quit rather than continue his dishonest charade. Basically, he said that the people who work there are sincere & like their jobs, many spend their entire working lives there. He said the company is sincere & honest with their employees, and give them lots of control, more than most companies. I then went to Walmart out of curiosity, and after viewing the experience through the new filter, I liked it (kinda).
