Liberty vs. Democracy

Here's my little contribution:

If you want to get more men to support liberty, then you need to accomplish three things:

1) Make men stronger by rebooting mandatory gym classes in high schools.

2) Create economic prosperity for men so that they can support wives and children earlier.

3) Put an end to incentivizing thot behavior, single motherhood, etc.



Item (1) is obvious. Weak men tend towards collectivism as a mating strategy. Item (2) really is a corollary to (1), because economic weakness is still a factor in finding a wife, since women primarily marry based upon resources. Item (3) is absolutely necessary so that most men have access to wives and thus families. The reason it is out of hand is that we have incentivized, essentially, whore behavior. I cannot think of a better way to put it. Women should not be rewarded for having children with random men. They should not be rewarded for destroying their families, or the families of other women. End the financial incentives and you can slowly correct the problem.

For men, ideological choices will flow from their having stable families to provide for, access to jobs, job security, and confidence in their competence at providing for their families instead of constant fear and lack of confidence.

For women, ideological choices flow from their having stable families, a man taking care of them, children to take care of, and stability.

People who lack those things are far more likely to adopt leftist ideologies. Even if they have some of it, they might still have the economic insecurity, enormous student debts, etc. which cause them to lean towards bad political ideas as solutions to problems they cannot see how to solve in their lives.

Stable, married women tend to vote for what we would call conservatism. Desperate single mothers are almost always democrats. They are living gibs check to gibs check. They live constantly in fear and uncertainty, and the democrats keep it that way.

The mistake made by the GOP has always been to not see this. The democratic party knows damned well what they are doing when they keep their plantation people living paycheck to paycheck, in constant fear of some new problem to pull the rug out from under their feet. The democrats are not really waging an ideological war, and the republicans for a very long time were, to no effect.

Provide those three things to men and you turn this shit around. THEN you can go gangbusters with liberty nation talk because you will have the majority of men on your side and almost half of women who remained married in stable families.

I actually don't think democracy is seen as an end by the far left, but rather a means. Maybe there was a time when democracy was seen as the ultimate good, but when it was observed that it failed to deliver, the pretense was dropped.
