Re: Printing Money For UBI
You're fighting a losing battle in the long run. It's very early to seriously contemplate implementing something like this, but some kind of measure needs to be put in place to help us transition between capitalism and whatever comes next. Maybe fifty years from now at most, but could be sooner that is needed.
I'd rather go with government work programs that focus on shit that is not profitable to research, develop, or spend money on. But that's just me. Focus on high impact risks especially.

Libertarians usually eschew public health in favor of less government by claiming the free market will provide solutions. This seems to imply the free market has public health issues and that big government will make them worse. Even while inadvertently admitting the free market can post health risks, somehow the government is always the problem for libertarians. These are my arguments appealing specifically to libertarians rather than economic progressives.
Four: With the UBI, the state is potentially handing out a large sum of money each month to people who may spend it to ruin their own health, or destroy their lives. Individuals with substance addictions, gambling problems or bad spending habits which get them in trouble. People who are addicted to computer games or Facebook might benefit from getting out to work in a bar or cafe and mingling with the public for some occupational therapy. But the UBI will allow them to isolate themselves further. Thus, in many cases with the UBI, payments may not actually be helping people. Recipients lives could be made worse by payments.

Moral restraint is ultimately the problem for libertarians. They do not enjoy the idea that society in any capacity can impose upon them any form of moral restraint, but they can't admit that (possibly even to themselves), so they substitute "government" for moral restraint.

Yeah the only thing keeping all of us from killing each other in the street this afternoon and raping every 15 year old girl in town is city hall.
It's a good thing Chicago and Memphis have such an effective "moral restraint" system in place.

There's a reason that Asheville isn't the same as Chicago and South Memphis.
Should Asheville's superior coercive "moral restraint" system be considered as an additional reason?

It's not worth being a cop because you'll never make it to your pension. If you try and do your job you'll just get sued and reprimanded. Better to just keep your head low.
