At the very minimum, all of Einstein’s equations need 1.3 million mph integrated into them concerning what time it is right now.
woh. My clock needs to be a lot more complex.

Yeah but space can distort time. I dont think the speed of light is set at all. It quite likely was much faster when the existing universe was smaller. Now it takes more time to do what it does perhaps.

Time really seems arbitrary to a layman like myself.

Here’s some more Hash theory.

The galaxy is a big magnetic/gravity field. Light is a wave that travels through the field, and light speed is constant within that field. There is no time travel though light can look weird depending on what direction and how fast you’re going.

Traveling at lightspeed means nothing can be sensed, not eyes, not equipment, but time is not affected. You could probably still watch the TV show from Alpha Centuri, just things in the ship would be imperceptible.

The existence of a gulf between space in time is where the Warp comes from. The Warp can be used to jump around from point A to point B. There are many ways to do it but perhaps the simplest way is to imagine a beach ball when you hold it under water. When you let it go it pops out and goes a little bit in whichever direction you aimed at. The warp is the swimming pool right, it is an alternate universe all encompassing ours so by using something like a Geller field you could in theory jump into it however its going to push you right back out like a magnet pushes the opposite forces away. Early in the universe the Warp was something that could be safely manipulated to do any number of things. Over the course of time it has attracted a horror show of sentient being's souls and manifested their own gods that never cease to meddle with humanity. The Warp has become Chaos as we know it and while some aspects of it can still be used to lesser degrees with extreme caution it is on a whole, very dangerous and even hostile. Eventually our God Emporer will usher in a new age and lead us to conquer the entire galaxy while defending it from hostile Xenos. Eventually a race of Empath Pyschers will emerge ready to do combat with the Chaos Gods and secure the existence of our Galaxy in the face of all odds.

I’ve said before that science fiction authors have probably been more correct about where we come from than Evolutionists are; I just don’t know which story is right?

Let's do some time travelling:

When you look at Alpha Centuri through your telescope, what are you seeing?

Alpha Centauri is about 4.3 light years away but light bends in gravity so the route the light takes may be longer, PLUS, with the galaxy moving at 1.3 million mph, if there is time dialation, some is happening, so the time would be somewhat less since by that theory time is shorter, but Earth is traveling at 1.3 million mph too, with another 67,000 mph around the Sun, which would vary time a little bit more, plus the universe may be moving... Hell, I give up, what are you looking at through a telescope?

What if motion is actually the illusion, and time is absolute?
