You'll have a hard time getting accurate polling data on people admitting that they don't want to work a job, but someone should try.de officiis wrote:Anecdotal.GrumpyCatFace wrote:20 years of personal experience and coworker testimony.Okeefenokee wrote:

I work out of fear - mortgage, car payment, and taxes......
If I didn't have to work - I probably would find some engineering project to work on - but I wouldn't' work the 80hr+ week I do now....

Why would you have a hard time getting polling data like this? People are chomping at the bit to share far seedier thoughts online via Facebook. It's not like this narcissistic society is afraid of acting like they're to cool to like their job. They're bitching about work 24/7 right now.GrumpyCatFace wrote:You'll have a hard time getting accurate polling data on people admitting that they don't want to work a job, but someone should try.
Really Grumps, sometimes it's like you inhabit your own fantasy world.

You saw some Facebook posts, therefore everyone's thoughts are clearly represented? The fear of being ostracized is too strong for people to bitch about having a job.DBTrek wrote:Why would you have a hard time getting polling data like this? I happen to genuinely love my job, for the first time in my life. But the previous 30 of them were just selling my misery for rent money.

I mean, one that involves human contact.
Because you're clearly disconnected from how absolutely trendy it is to act like jobs suck, work sucks, and everyone is too overqualified to be doing the shit they're doing.
Fantasy land, bro. Say hi to the pegasi-riding wizards for me.
