Consumer bases around the world are crashing, they want us all to 'own nothing and be happy' so they can own everything and extend how much wealth they can harvest from consumers.

Fewer consumers equal a need to get more from the remaining consumers.

the main thing people consume is the media by far

with their smartphones & tablets

people consume exponentially more media now, and the media is exponentially more toxic

we always had cheap consumer products, but that didn't actually destroy the social cohesion
