Yes. The dividing line between political Parties is NOT liberty, it's wealth Concentration vs. Redistribution.

Totally universal. Every population has a distribution: you could have an IQ of 140 but if everyone else had 150 IQs, you'd be the loser.
wE WERE TALKING ABOUT WEALTH DISTRIBUTION...
Analogy: a comparison between two things, typically for the purpose of explanation or clarification.

I have recently been kicking around the thought that liberty as a concept is only positive when it is wielded by a generally disciplined, culturally homogeneous populace. Otherwise, liberty turns people against one another.

Thoughts?

Liberty does not develop naturally, it must be indoctrinated into the young, just like any ideology. For the past couple generations, public schools in some parts of the nation have been indoctrinating socialism, the opposite of liberty; conflict is inevitable.

I agree with that. What then must be done? How does one remove the entrenched ideologues, and by what mechanism are they removed? I would assume that these ideologues, having attained their position within the bounds of the law, could not be removed without extralegal judicial action.

"The Purge"

Liberty, once gone, is gone forever. There's a YUGE risk that the Millennials are socialist-leaning enough that combined with the Special Interest groups, like SJWs, environmentalists & feminists, can leverage democracy into electing a Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren.

The FIRST thing that needs to happen is Charter Schools, so whenever you have the opportunity to support Charter Schools, do it.

p.s. "Charter" Schools just means they have a charter. As they exist today, Charter Schools are little more than clones of public schools, but the opportunity exists with Charter Schools to escape the teacher-in-front-of-the-classroom mentality. The SJW types lose most of their power if they aren't in positions to indoctrinate children.

I work at a Charter School on the side in IT. I can confirm that the teachers there are little more than facilitators, and given that traditional high school does nothing academically to prepare students for college, I see no problem in moving toward Charter school systems. It's a more efficient use of resources.

My fear is that the word "liberty" in the US has been re-defined to the point of meaninglessness. My gut says we need a Leviathan to correct course, not toward utopia, but more toward the liberty track.

Sounds close to right. Without discipline or respect, the provision 'so long as my actions aren't injurious to others' gets flaunted.
