Pick A Frog, Any Frog

Singapore, the world's only island city-state, is a former British colony & still under Western influence, but there are a lot of Chinese restaurants. It's also expensive as hell: $1200 per night at the Raffles hotel, originators of the famous mixed drink, Singapore Sling, which itself runs $25 a glass. I'm mostly immune to social virtue-signaling, but I discovered something about myself; even though I'm not a vegetarian, not even close (vegans need to stay out of my way), that I've got a soft spot in my heart for frogs. I've eaten frog in the past, been to a frog abattoir, & even discussed the merits of fresh frog porridge, but when I passed a "Live Frog" restaurant on the street, saw dozens of the big guys in tanks for diners to choose from, looking up at me vacuously, I was done eating frogs forever.

The ones in that restaurant weren't.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Impose sanctions.
