I grew up riding a wooden roller coaster in Memphis built before WWI, the Zippin Pippin. That old bastard is still shaking them to their boots nowadays in Green Bay. (!)

The best woodie, IMO, is The Voyage @ Holiday World in Santa Claus, IN.

This is my lifetime unique coaster count: Coasters: 172 (140 Steel, 32 Wood)

My first and last rollercoasters were wooden. Love them - 'my' rollercoaster was the Dragon Coaster at Rye Playland.

My lifetime Coaster Count is: 1.

I fucking hate the sensation of heights and falling. But, I do love building them. :)

That's a hell of a count Kath, well done.
I've got to check out Alton towers, about 4hrs drive away. All steel by the looks of it.
I'm crap at queuing though....

Mind you, I wouldn't go in the front carriage like these girls did

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.
