Globalization has been VERY, VERY good to Malaysia. I bet all of Asia are big globalists.

So just about our entire microchip industry.

You know, fuck "Free" Trade & off-shoring.
Since you only represent 8% of their exports, clearly, they are not getting rich offshoring to the USA, clearly, it is Singapore, China, and Japan who are making them rich.

You know, fuck protectionist idiots who can't even do math.

I propose Trump's new signature Trade Negotiations stance be: "a GT-R for every American." (Hell, if Malaysia can do it?)

p.s. Stop intentionally confusing Trade with off-shoring.

Let's take your logic to its conclusions, the US raises tariffs on electronics from Malaysia, so what?

Dell and Intel stops making microprocessors in Malaysia and lets that business go to some other company so that company can sell computers to Singapore, China and Japan, and then Dell's stock goes down when their earninings go down, so Dell lays people off in the US to compensate?

Why would they do that? Even if they did, How would that help America?

China doesn't allow foreign ownership of their companies, nor foreign ownership of their natural resources, they discourage purchase of foreign-made products, discourage off-shoring, and don't have "Free" Trade. That got them double-digit growth.

So what? Don't dodge the question "smart" guy, if you're so smart then just answer the questions instead of trying to duck them.

USA raises tariffs on Malaysia, what does that do for Americans?

You're real good at whining like a little bitch about China, but presenting sensible, workable, practical solutions which would actually do something good for Americans, not so much.

Lets say you could drive US computer companies back to the USA by trade war, how would that help US exports? Why would any of the rest of us buy your uber expensive American made and now retaliatory tariffed computers, when we could get one just as good from Lenovo, no tariff on it, for half the price, made in Malaysia?

The rest of The World can buy stuff made in Malaysia, knock yourselves out. That's the point isn't it, a race to the bottom where everyone in Canada lives on the dole using SE Asia made products. But here in the good ol', U.S. of A, we'll be using our own stuff. I bet on America. I've been everywhere else, and they all suck.

Yeah, sure, whatever, as per usual, all you have is your isolationist fantasies, some empty slogans, and hateful resentment for the world.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, the American PC market is saturated, fastest growing PC market is in Asia, and when PC sales in China went down, the US market did not take up the slack, and the earnings tanked.

Am I to cry for a few 1%er. Most Americans have no money in the Stock Market other than retirement funds, and those are ghost losses already.

Real Americans need jobs, not cheaper clothing or another set of earphones. When The World makes something America actually needs, we'll invade it out of them.

Except, when Dell's earnings tanked, they layed off 3,000 workers, not in Malaysia; in the USA.

Big talk, from a country where 99% of the people wont serve in the military, and which got its ass thoroughy kicked by rice farmers then goat farmers, while costing trillions down a sinkhole, the last three times you invaded somebody.

A nation of butter soft fatbodies, who couldn't fight its way out of a wet paper bag now, don't kid yourselves.
