I've seen these revolvers before on tv and youtube without the hammers. Is that a style choice or is it a functional one? Does it allow you to pull the trigger faster?

Your answer is at 13:37
(Think hoodie pockets too)
Could be part of the reason your trigger pull is throwing you off is your gun doesn't have a hammer lol

Could be.
I took it on the recommendation of a SF friend. That's Special Forces, not gay-ass San Francisco, by the way. I'd never take gun advice from anyone coming out of San Francisco.

Anyway, I asked the dude what he packed for CC and he recommended the hammerless revolver. He said he'd go jogging with it in the front of his hoodie, and if any shit went down he'd just pop people right through the sweatshirt.
Sounded good to me.

The accuracy (for me) drops off at 20'-30' ... but closer than that I'm putting a tight little shot group into something.
So . . . for it's intended purpose it's pretty awesome.
But it ain't no long range gun for sure.

Ain't gonna be no long range gun fight if you're drawing down from your hoodie

Aiming is useless, but not necessary neither

I think the real issue is using a revolver as your primary self defense weapon in a home invasion situation. I mean, I love revolvers, and its better than nothing, but there are much better alternatives.
