The guy says "America can't run shit cause America is corrupt and you can't control the government"

Right before he says "unlike more coherent societies like China who run things for the benefit of the people"

Those guys dig authoritarian regimes that in their opinion do what's best for the people inside their respective nations. Its why they are also attracted to the idea that Stalin was actually more nationalist than internationalist and that as bad as the gulags and purges were Stalin and post Stalin keep the East from cultural decadence that most the West went into.

All the new to extreme interpretations of Stalin are interesting like this one (written by a American nationalist) but who knows really if there is any truth to his main ideas.

Are they going to start doing revisionist history again? I'm getting sick of muh skunk works and breakaway ideologies. Pro tip: it's not going to happen short of a meteor strike.

I really liked the Vietnam episode and Serial Killer one though. Even Yamashito's Gold. But you know what they had in common and what the new ones lack? Nick Mason. He's on hiatus and they have half a dozen or more episodes in the proverbial vault. Im in talks with Nick to do a guest spot. On what topic/s? Public Education and the Myth of Psychology. Bingo bongo boys. In any case, yes they need to get back to historical episodic topics and biographical ones. Of course the other dudes don't care much for the more cultural aspects of the show or the bios but Mason does.
